Tim P. Dougherty

Timothy P. Dougherty, 49, of Allegany, NY, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, in Bradford.

Born February 15, 1972, in Bradford, he was a son of James J. and M. Karen (Kalb) Dougherty, who survive. 

He was a 1990 graduate of Bradford High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard for three years. 

After the Coast Guard, he did landscaping for area families most recently for the Hart family. He was also a bartender at several area restaurants and bars, and for the last 5 years worked at Servco Services supervising employees at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and area banks in northwest Pennsylvania and western New York. 

He was a member of the NRA, the Cross Bow Coalition, Limestone Fire Department, and the Limestone American Legion. Tim loved to landscape lawns, make and fix leather items, hunt, fish and read. He had a love for dogs, and dogs loved him. 

Surviving is his parents, Jim and Karen Dougherty of Allegany, one son, Daniel P. Dougherty, of North Dakota, one brother, and Todd (Elizabeth) Dougherty, of Olean.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Tim's Life on Thursday, October 21, 2021, after 5:00pm at the Limeston American Legion.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
