Rosemarie Remington

Rosemarie Remington, 91, of Rome, GA formerly of Bradford, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, on September 13, 2021.

Born June 12, 1930 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Josephine Piersimoni and Angelo Piersimoni.

Rose graduated from Bradford High School in 1948. She worked 22 years as a bookkeeper for St. Mary’s School. She was a pink lady for Floyd Medical Center for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and served the church and community. She had a giving heart and shared her love with many.

Rosemarie is survived by her children, which include Michael and Nancy Remington, Larry and Barbara Remington, Susan and Marty Martin and Dennis and Allison Remington; 10 grandchildren, Patrick Marentette (Dawn), Elizabeth Remington, Lisa Remington, Roseanne Morgan (Greg), Robert Remington (Stephanie), Ronald Remington (Alexandria), Richard Remington (Susie), Chelsea Remington Smith (Jake), Meria Bowers and Hanna Remington. 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, two sisters, Joyce Schaming and Frances Troutman, as well numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L Remington of Red House, New York. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard A Remington and a brother Joseph Piersimoni.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burial was in Oaknoll Cemetery.
