John T. Campbell

John T. Campbell, 91, of 42 East Warren Road, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born on February 11, 1930, in Bradford, he was a son of the late John H. and Grace A. Closser Campbell.

John graduated from the Bradford Area High School in 1947. He later served in the United States Army during World WWII  in the European Theater.

In November of 2005, he married Nancy (McCord Mesler) Campbell who survives.

John was employed at Kendall Refining and retired from Witco after 40 years of service.

He was a member of the Pine Acres Country Club and the Kendall Quarter Century.

Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy, is one daughter, Kathi M. Campbell, of Los Angeles, CA, two step daughters, Susan Reigel, of Kane, and Donna Black of Bradford, two step-sons, Dan Turner, of Punxsutawney and Fred Turner, of Home, PA, one sister, Patricia Lycette, of Carrollton, NY, several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a wife Sara "Sally" (Matthews) Barnes, three brothers Bernard Campbell, Albert "Al" Campbell and Richard Campbell, two sisters, Mary Lou Warner and Pauline Jackson.

Private funeral services will be held for family members with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc,, followed by committal services and burial in Willow Dale Cemetery.
