Dorothy E. Benninger

Dorothy E. Benninger, 91, formerly of  Big Shanty Road, Lewis Run, passed away. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born February 17, 1930, in Timbuck, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy S. "Roy" and Edna (Belser) Eschrich. 

On March 20, 1948 in Lafayette, she married Harrison "Harry" W. Benninger, who preceded her in death on April 27, 1993.

Dorothy was a homemaker, and a lifetime member of the Lafayette Evangelical Church. 

Surviving is one son, David L. (Marlene) Benninger, of Lockport, NY, and one granddaughter, Amanda Benninger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Helen Dixon and Virgina Sprester and one brother Glenn C. Eschrich.

Family will hold a private graveside service with Rev. Robert Baldwin, Pastor of the Lafayette Evangelical Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the McKean Memorial Park.
