Ronald L. Honhart

Ronald L. Honhart, 75, of Bradford, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Born on May 1, 1946, in Bradford, he was a son of the late William and Florence I. (Wheeler) Honhart.

He attended Bradford Schools.

He enlisted in the United States Army on February 21, 1967 and served during the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged on May 22, 1970.

On October 1, 1982, he married Sally A. (Hetrick) Honhart, in the First Wesleyan Church who survives. 

He worked for Pecora Enterprises and was a volunteer firefighter. 

He enjoyed camping with his family, sitting in his rocking chair on the front porch while people watching. He loved his beloved dog Sammy.  Enjoyed watching and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar racing.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sally, three daughters, Tammy Lynn (Peter) True,Rhonda (Bruce) Courteau and Kelly (Richard) Herbstritt, five grandchildren Courtney, Katie Jo, Maverick, Jersey and Brock, great grandson Jaxon, three sisters, Carol(George) Osborne, of Bradford;  Margaret Honhart, of Bradford;  Mary(The Late James) Amacher, of Bradford,  and several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald Honhart, brother Roman Honhart, infant sisters Helen Honhart and June Honhart, infant brother Robert Honhart and brother-n-law James Amacher.

Family will hold a memorial service to be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
