Wayne O. Duree

Wayne O. Duree, 85, of, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born March 8, 1936, in Seminole OK, he was a son of the late Sam and Bertha (Staley) Duree.

Wayne graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1954.

On June 9, 1956, in the Church of God in St. Elmo IL, he married Kay J. (Stolte) Duree who passed away on June 29, 2019.

He worked for Halliburton as a field supervisor for 33 years.

Wayne was a member of the Sawyer Evangelical Church, the Olney, IL Masonic Lodge #1040 F&AM, the Bradford Lodge # 749 F&AM, and the Coudersport Consistory. He also volunteered at Christmas in July, the Oilman's Museum, and the American Cancer Society. He enjoyed reading, genealogy, working in his yard, but most of all spending time with his family.

Surviving are two daughters, Pam Hale, of Bradford, and Lisa (Carl) Larson, of Sanford, NC, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters, Sherry Stewart, and Debra Crum, one great grandson Oliver Volk, two sisters, and three brothers.

Family will receive friends, on Friday December 10, 2021, from Noon to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue, at 1:00pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Ernie Perry, retired Methodist minister officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to, the American Cancer Society, Emma's Footprints, Erie PA., or Sawyer Evangelical Church.
