Julia Julie Good

Julia I. "Julie" Good, 79, formerly of 10 Hill Street, Bradford, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Bradford Ecumenical Home. 

Born March 14, 1942, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Laura (Ford) Heffner. 

On July 30, 1960 at Peoples Christian Fellowship Church she married Richard R. Good who preceded her in death on June 9, 1999.

Julie was a homemaker, and enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, cooking. 

Surviving is one daughter, Mary (the late Tim) Porter, of Port Allegany, two sons, Ira Good, and William Good, both of Limestone NY, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one sister, Laura (Ray) Casper of Bradford, one brother Andrew Heffner Jr. of Ormsby, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, John Good, who died November 21, 2014, one daughter, Janet Preston, who died in 2017, one sister, June Woodley, one great granddaughter Eva Good, one brother Stanley "Buzz" Heffner.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 28, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue, at 7:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Alan Trotter, of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Activities Fund at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Julie was such a wonderful compassionate lady who along with other''s on Hill St. Took a lonely 6 yr old in after her mom passed and treated her like their own. Not because her daughter was my best friend but because that was who she was.She will be sadly missed by all. Julie I know your enjoying seeing Cub, John & Janet again. Please give Janet a hug for me. I will miss you both so much.
