Keith R. Reed

Keith R. Reed, 73, of Bradford, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at his daughters  residence, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born February 14, 1948 in Savonna, NY, he was a son of the late Percey Reed and Emma F. (S) Aldrich.

After school he enlisted in the United States Navy on December 16, 1984, achieving the rank of first class Boatswain, until he retired on May 25, 2002.

He then went on to work for the US Forestry Service for five years and then as a security guard for American Refining Group. 

Keith was a member of the Bradford Legion Post 108, American Legion, VFW, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are one daughter, Silvana Reed, of Bradford, and a son, John (Tina)  Reed, of North Fort Myers, FL, six grandchildren, Makayla Reed, Anthony Reed, Kyle Reed, Kayle Costello, Brandon Reed and Summer Reed, six great grandchildren Leo O'Brian, Luke O'Brian, Kadyon Reed, Kodynn Reed, Nadia Costello and Luna Costello , and his former wife, Mary L. Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in-law, Dolores Price.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department on February 5, 2022, starting at Noon.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Shriner's Crippled Children Hospital, 1645 8th St., Erie, PA 16505, or a charity of the donor's choice.
