He graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1965. Jack served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970.

He thoroughly enjoyed riding around in his 1955 Plymouth Belvedere and 1955 Imperial. Jack loved to participate in the automobile flea markets in Dunkirk, NY and Hershey and sell his “fleas”.

He was a faithful member of the Country Chapel Baptist Church in Eldred and he always looked forward to the Friday evening men’s prayer time. He dearly loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Loretta, three children, Nanette (Mark) Miller, of Newalla, OK, Natalie (William) Dietze, of Palmer, AK, and Jack (Tana) Johnson, of Stoneville, NC. All Condolences -

I only have fond memories of Jack and his fine Christian testimony. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and his church family. I will never forget the Labor Day Monday nearly 40 years ago when Jack and other men from GBC came to my father''s property and cut nearly two years worth of firewood from tree tops that had pulled off the mountain. My father just sat there and cried as he watched these men work since his cancer prevented him from doing that hard work. Well done Jack. I will see you in Heaven someday.
