Mary K. Wallace, 94, formerly of 22 Kent Drive, Bradford, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Lutheran Home of Kane. 

Born May 25, 1927, in Mundorf, she was a daughter of the late Daniel O. and Mary E. "Queenie" (Doverspike) Dixon. She attended schools in Lafayette Township.

On September 8, 1945, at the home of her parents in Timbuck, she married Elmer F. Wallace who preceded her in death on December 30, 2008.

Mary was a stay at homemaker, who assisted her husband in the operation of his chain saw business. She was a former member of the Lafayette Evangelical Church.

Surviving is one daughter, Linda K. (Jack) Stakley, of Belleville, MI, one granddaughter Cindy M. (Andrew) Brodie, of Clinton MI, and several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Vera Eschrich and five brothers, Melvin, Stewart, Raymond, Glen, and Dale Dixon.

Family will be invited to attend a memorial service in the spring. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, in Mt Jewett.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Bradford Mennonite Church, the Lutheran Home in Kane or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
