Jane F. Grassi

Jane F. Grassi, 90, of Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born March 1, 1932, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Don D. and Celia (Frank) Farrell. She was a 1950 graduate of Bradford High School.

On November 20,1954, in St. Francis Church, she married Herman Grassi Jr. who died August 31, 2000.

She worked for seven years at Dresser MFG. Co. and along with her husband owned and operated Herm's Radio and TV repair service in Bradford for many years.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

Surviving are two sons, Greg E. Grassi and Mark E. (Kelle) Grassi, of Bradford. Dubbed “Bama” by her three grandchildren, Nathan (Bryan) Whitley-Grassi of Buffalo NY, Jamie Grassi, and Matthew Grassi of Bradford, two great-grandchildren Ava and Michael of Buffalo, one sister, Rolena Mason, of Limestone, five nephews and a niece, Rick, Michael, Don, Frank, Eric, and Janine, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother, Duane Farrell.

At the time of her death, she lived longer on Interstate Parkway than any other person.

Private funeral services will be observed with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
