Lynette J. Keane

Lynette J. Keane, 76, of 12 Keane Lane, Bradford, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 6, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Mary E. (Pruch) Ernest.

Lynette was a member of the first graduating class of Bradford Central Christian High School in 1963.

On August 8, 1964, at St. Bonaventure Parish, she married M. Joseph Keane who preceded her in death on February 15, 2008.

Along with her husband, Lynette successfully owned and operated Keane Drilling Company.  Prior to that, she was employed by Penn Bank and Zippo Manufacturing. Lynette was a member of St. Bernard Church.

Mimi, as she was affectionately referred to by her grandkids, enjoyed attending the never-ending sports and activities in which her children and grandchildren participated.

Surviving are five sons, Shawn (Jacquelyn) Keane, Tim (Lori) Keane, Kevin (Cindy) Keane, Brian (Judy) Keane, and Kyle (Brady) Keane, four daughters, Jodi (Jerad) Rosendahl, Julie Keane, Jamie (Lukas) Breese, and Kimberly (John) Lewis; twenty-eight grandchildren, Ashley, Shannon, Jessica, Tim Jr., Nicole, Michele, Brianne, Isaac, Dillon, Colby, Torie, Lyndsay, Kaelyn, Camryn, Addison, Brady, Reese, Haley, Kylee, Emma, Ryan, Kellen, Eli, Nora, Heaven, Kaitlyn, John Christian, and Kylie; many great-grandchildren; one sister, Pamela Emerson; and several nieces and nephews.

Lynette was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Theresa Keane; two sisters, Rosalyn "Midge" Franco and an infant sister, Theresa Ernest; and great-granddaughter Ryann Pineda.

There will be no public services observed. Family members will gather for a private Mass of Christian Burial at a later date. She will be buried alongside her husband in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Bernard Parish or to a local charity of the donor’s choice.
