David A. Glenn

David A. Glenn, 72, of 384 East Main Street, Bradford, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, surrounded by his family, at his residence. 

Born May 12, 1950, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Margaret I. (Swanson) and James D. Glenn.

On June 30, 1971, he enlisted in the United States Army, he served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on June 25, 1974. He continued to serve in the Army Reserve for 20 years.

On May 21, 1999, in Bradford he married Kimberly A. (Sampson) Glenn who survives.

Dave was employed as a mechanic at Fairway Ford Lincoln Mercury for 22 years. He drove truck over the road for 14 years at Cunningham Trucking Company until his retirement.

Dave enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Las Vegas Raiders football fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife Kim of 23 years, are four daughters, Davawn Glenn, of Fairport OH, Jami Sloan, of Bradford, Lindsey (Kirt) Barr, of Turtlepoint, and Nicole Sloan, of Bradford, five grandchildren, Kynsley, Braleigh, Cole, Nolan, and Sloan, one sister, Donna (William) Sallade, of Coudersport, two brothers, Denny Glenn, of Southern Pines NC, Doug (Brenda) Glenn, of Eldred, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday August 6, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., followed by funeral services at Noon with Pastor Terri Niver of the First Wesleyan Church, officiating. Members of the United States Army, and the Honor Guard from the American Legion Post 108 of Bradford will attend and present Full Military Honors.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Kids and Cancer.
