Ruth was a very dear friend of my mom and people from the same building in Tamaqua. She had the biggest heart, always helping, fixing things, making crafts, and baking the tastiest pumpkin rolls, cookies, cupcakes and more for everyone in the building. I visited a few years ago. When I was leaving Ruth made sure I had 5 or 6 dozen cookies, cupcakes, a nut roll, 3 wreaths (she made for me), a plant, and anything else she thought I might need. When my mom had cellulitis she would come by 2x a day to wash and put lotion on her legs for weeks. Ruth was such a true friend and blessing to my mom. She will be so deeply missed by so many people. She made the world a better place. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and dear loved ones.

I remember Ruth Ann so well as I spent so many childhood days “hanging out” at Susan’s house. Ruth Ann was a hard worker and often worked long shifts but always had an easy smile and laugh upon returning home. She was always happy to get home and be with her dog “Poochie”. Our deepest condolences to all the family during these difficult days. ~Lori & Jeff~
