Larry Douthit

Larry "Duke" Douthit, 82, of East Main Street, Bradford, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, surrounded by his family, at UPMC Cole, in Coudersport. 

Born June 9, 1940, in Bradford he was a son of the late Max C. and Jennie M. (Wolfgang) Douthit. He was a 1958 graduate of Bradford High School.

On March 30, 1963, in the First United Methodist Church in Limestone, he married Donna J. (Little) Douthit who survives.

Larry and his brother Max co-owned a logging business. After that he worked as a salesman for Lyons Sawmill and Logging Equipment. Then he started his career in the oil fields.
 
Surviving in addition to his wife Donna of 59 years are two daughters, Nancy (Bob) Foote of Sterling, VA , and Lisa (Dick) Munday of Pittsburgh, one son, Greg Douthit of Bradford,  five grandchildren, Mike Foote, Jennifer Wensil, Steven Munday, Claire Foote, and Mitchell Douthit, four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ali, Sarah Ali, Liam Ali, and Jaxson Munday, one sister, Mary Ann Crissman of Bradford, one sister in law, Ellie Douthit of Custer City, and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Max Douthit, and one brother-in-law Wayne "Gus" Crissman.

Services are private at the convenience of family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
