Samuel B. Nolf, Sr., 77, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 21, 1945, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Waide B. and Clara D. (Bennett) Nolf. He attended Bradford area schools.
On December 7, 1968, in Bradford, he married Marilyn K. (Bennett) Nolf, who died July 7, 2007.
Sam was employed at Coke Bottling, Rink Brothers Chrysler, Case Cutlery, and Boviard & Seafang. He moved to North Carolina and worked for Concord Farms and Basic Electric. He returned to Bradford and worked at Graham Packaging in maintenance until he retired.
He was a member of the Bradford Special Police, Marche Club, American Legion Post 108, and was a former member of the Eagles, VFW, Moose Lodge, and Italian Club.
Sam was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan, and enjoyed watching NASCAR and going camping.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (Jim Felmlee) Gunn, and Karen (Jason) Colley, all of Bradford, three sons, Samuel (Sarah) Nolf Jr., and Waide Nolf, all of Bradford, and James (Sharon) Nolf, of Big Run, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Rebecca Sable, and Nancy (Bob) Onuffer, all of Bradford, and one brother, James (Ann) Nolf, of Cobbtown SC, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother, David L. Nolf.
Friend will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life on a date to be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
