Tina Marie Whitford

Tina Marie Whitford, 61, of 155 Constitution Avenue, Bradford, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence. 

Tina was born in Bradford, on December 1, 1963, she was a daughter of the late James and Donna (Chartreau) Whitford.

She was a 1981 graduate from Bradford High School.

Tina was employed at Futures Inc. for 41 years. She worked at M&M's Pastry Shop in the late 80's and into the 90's. She was also employed at the Shurfine Market and has worked a variety of jobs at Futures since 1984. Tina loved her work and built strong relationships with many friends and co-workers throughout the years.

She was a member of Special Olympics Sports where she actively participated in bowling, basketball and swimming and was highlighted as featured athlete in their newsletter in February 2011 for her optimism and Can-Do Attitude. “Now I am thinking positive and just doing the best I can” said Tina in the article.
She loved her music and could often identify the artist and song across all music genres. 

Tina was a member of St. Bernard Church and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Surviving are two sisters, Janet (Fran) Bottone, of Bradford, and Marsha (Gary) Mellring, of Daytona Beach, FL, four brothers, Daniel (Rayette) Whitford, of Kailua, Oahu, HI, Robert (Georgi) Whitford, of Pollock Pines, CA, John and Shawn Whitford both of Bradford, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, and her aunt, Sally McClinsey of North Tonawanda, NY.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, two uncles,  John E. Chartreau, and James "Frenchy" Chartreau. 

Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from Noon to 1 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 1 pm funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Edward Walk, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Futures Inc. or a charity of the donor's choice. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
