Michael H. Fay

Michael Harold Fay, 72, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the Bradford Manor. 

Born February 21, 1953, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Harold James and Margaret (Atkinson) Fay.

He was a 1971 graduate of Bradford Area High School and then went to University of Pittsburgh Main Campus majoring in English Literature.

On July 1, 1978, in St. Bernard Church he married Debbora (Cobb) Fay who survives.

Mike worked at W.R Case for 42 years retiring in 2016.

He was a member of the Case Collectors Club, and the Eagles Club. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved to go to his camp on Heavens Way, he enjoyed hunting,  fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandboys.  

Surviving in addition to his wife Debbie, of 47 years, is one son, Michael Harold Fay, Jr., two daughters, Melissa Ann Fay, and Mallory Margaret Fay, two grandsons, Andrew Michael Cox and Jay Thomas Newcombe, Mike's twin brother, Patrick (Audrey) Fay, two sister in-laws, Ellen Fay and Martha (Bruce) Kightlinger, Mike's father and mother in-law, Robert Cobb and Virginia Wonsettler, two brother in laws, Robert (Maricella) Cobb and Brian (Janna) Cobb,  many nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother James Fay, one sister, Kathryn Gazdik, and one brother in-law, Lawrence Gazdik.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue. Friends are also invited on Wednesday. to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 am in the St. Bernard Church, with Fr. Jim Gutting, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1999, Memphis TN, 33101, or the charity of the donor's choice.
