Pamela M. Grady

Pamela M. Grady, 84, formerly of State Street, Bradford, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Heritage Springs Memory Care, in Lewisburg. 

Born September 19, 1941, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Peters) Smith.

She was a 1959 graduate at St. Bernard School, after high school she attended Mansfield State College, and graduated in 1963 with a degree in Elementary Education.

On August 8, 1964, in St. Bernard Church, she married Thomas G. Grady, who preceded her in death on November 23, 2017.

Pam was a school teacher for the Bradford Area School District for 37 years. She taught Elementary Education at Fourth Ward, Fifth Ward, West Branch, and School Street Elementary Schools. 

She was a member at St. Bernard Church, and she was known to be a huge dog lover. 

Surviving is one daughter, Susan Martin, of Milton, two sons, Michael (Patricia) Grady, and James (Danielle) Grady, all of Bradford, seven grandchildren, Daniel, Sara, Ian, Brennan, Aaron, Joshua, and Brian, one great granddaughter, Madison, one sister Patricia Stewart of Norwich, CT, and one brother, Gregory (Nancy) Smith of Rochester, NY.

Friends are invited to call from 4 pm to 7 pm, Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St. Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Edward Walk, Senior Associate, as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or Bradford Area Public Library, 67 West Washington Street, Bradford, PA 16701.

I had the honor of taking care of Pam at Heritage Springs and I loved seeing her every time I would walk in her room I would practically sit there and talk to her for hours and she would talk for hours as well.
