Ilon C. Renninger

Ilon C. Renninger, 83, of Duke Center, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at UPMC Cole, in Coudersport.

Born April 13, 1942, in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late William and Helen (Snow) Bickel. She was a 1960 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

On May 4, 1963, in Rockey Grove, she married  Lonnie S. Renninger, who survives.

She worked at the Holiday Inn, Duke Center Superette, and the Countryside Diner.  

Ilon was an avid puzzle lover, especially jigsaw puzzles, word search, and search and find. She was a good cook and baker and enjoyed making Sunday dinners for her family, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. 

Surviving in addition to her husband Lonnie, of 62 years, are two sons, Bill (Dorothy) Renninger, Eldred and Randy (Penney) Renninger, of Duke Center, five grandchildren, Samantha (Chris) Wilkerson, Kirsten (Chris) Conner, Ashley Renninger, Brent Renninger, and Ethan VanCamp, and four great grandchildren, Kinsley, Jaxson, Spencer, and Kayce.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main Street. Friends are also invited to attend funeral services on Thursday at 3 pm at the Church of Christ, with Rev. Rick Price, Pastor officiating. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Otto Township Volunteer Fire Department.
