Ann M. Mongillo, 87, formerly of 51 South Kendall Avenue, Bradford, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born September 22, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (O'Connell) Rich, Sr.
She was a 1956 graduate of Bradford Area High School, and a 1957 graduate from the Rochester Business School receiving a degree in Business.
Ann worked for 20 years as a secretary and library aide for the Bradford Area School District.
She was a member of St. Bernard Church, Phi Beta Si and various card groups in the community. She enjoyed counted cross-stitch and caring for stray cats in the neighborhood.
Surviving is one daughter, Susan (Joe) Marzo, of Coudersport, four sons, David (Lisa) Mongillo, of Middlebury Heights, OH, Thomas Mongillo, of Bradford, Jack (Mary) Mongillo Jr., of Bradford, and Steve (Brenda) Mongillo, of Bradford, 11 grandchildren: Nicholas (Allison Lathrop) Marzo, Daniel (Mollie) Marzo, Vincent (Chelsey) Marzo, Mike Rounds, Ashley Hursh, Amanda (Sam) Bates, Ryan (Amanda) Mongillo, Jennie (Brandon Johnson) Mongillo, Christopher (Melissa) Smith, Matthew (Jordan) Mongillo, Jonathan Mongillo, and Joshua (Megan) Mongillo, nine great grandchildren: Lillian Marzo, Emmalyne Marzo, Brooks Marzo, Gabriel Mongillo, Ellie Mongillo, Kylie Sayers, Sadie Sayers, Myla Mongillo, and Pierson Hursh, one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Rich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her children's father, Jack Mongillo Sr., two sisters, Elizabeth (Adam) Zetts, Martha (Don) Hipchen, and three brothers, Tom Rich, William (Mary Lou) Rich, and Hugh “Bud” (Delores) Rich.
Family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, and again on Tuesday from 10 am to 11 am in St. Bernard Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, with Rev. Edward Walk, as Celebrant. Committal services and burial will be at 2 pm in McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.
