Keith Edward Lounsberry, 83, of Bradford, passed away peacefully at 8:15 a.m. on July 9, 2026, at Bradford Manor.  

Keith was born on December 28, 1942, in Wellsville, NY, to Hobart Keith Lounsberry and Evelyn Priscilla Davidson.  

On March 25, 1967, Keith married the love of his life, Sue Fargo. Together, they built a life filled with love, devotion, familiar routines, and countless memories throughout their 59 years of marriage. Keith was a dedicated husband and family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply.  

Keith worked first shift for many years as a Gasket Specialist at Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford. He retired on September 30, 2008, after a long and dedicated career. In a meaningful coincidence, Keith passed away at 8:15 a.m.—815 was the clock number he had used throughout his many years at Dresser Manufacturing.  

Keith was a hardworking man who was especially talented with his hands. Nearly all the work done on his home was completed by him, and he took great pride in caring for his house and flower beds. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. He was always there when someone needed him, knew the right things to say, and gave some of the very best advice.  

Keith created many treasured memories with his family.  

Keith is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Lounsberry; his daughters, Laurie Lounsberry of Westfield, NC and Wendy Minich of Benson, NC; his grandchildren, Toni Tooley and her husband, Mike, of Benson, NC, Crystal Hobbs and her husband, Gary, of Princeton, NC, Ashley Keesee of Titusville and partner Josh Brockway, and Victor Keesee of Stokes County, NC; and his great-grandchildren, Jason Bolles and his wife, Rory, of Raleigh, NC, Mackenzie Moss of Raleigh, NC, Jared Pearce of Benson, NC, Eli Hobbs of Princeton, NC, Bryan Brockway of Titusville, and Zoey Keesee of NC.

He is also survived by his sisters, Cynthia Franklin and her husband, Joe, of NJ, and Deana Astor of NJ.  

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart Keith Lounsberry and Evelyn Priscilla Davidson, his sister, Martha Schick, and his son-in-law, Carl Keesee, Laurie’s longtime partner.  

Keith will be cremated, and no funeral or visitation services will be held.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department.  

Keith’s family will remember him not only for how hard he worked, but for how deeply he loved. He was a steady presence, a trusted source of advice, and a man his family could always count on. His stories, familiar sayings, guidance, and love will remain in their hearts forever.
