Ruthanne B. Lineman

Ruthanne B. Lineman, 86, of Oxford Street, Bradford, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, surrounded by her family at home. 

Born July 9, 1939, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Lucille E. (Jarrett) Burritt. She was a 1957 graduate of Bradford High School. 

On December 21, 1957, in the First Church of the Nazarene she married Edward D. Lineman who preceded her in death on July 23, 2014.

Ruthanne was a lifetime member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she served on the Board of Directors, was past President of the local Nazarene Missions ministry. She taught Sunday School for many years as well as Bible School. She was also an active member of the Eldred Koinonia.

She enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, cake decorating, and reading. 

Surviving are four sons: Brian Lineman, of Bradford, Jeffrey (Dawn) Lineman, of Nampa ID, Craig Lineman and Nathan Lineman both of Bradford, eight grandchildren, Michael McKee, Katie Leon, Kelly Leavell, Shawn Lineman, Tarrell Um, Paul Lineman, James Lineman and Joshua Lineman, nine great grandchildren, Demitri Leon, Maximus Leon, Hailey Leon, Declan Leavell, Eliza Lineman, Ava Lineman, Savannah Lineman, Aiden Um, and Audrey Um, one sister, Pamela Holmes, of Russell, one sister-in-law, Marian Lineman, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister Marti Carlson.

Family will receive friends on Saturday June 14, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 am with Rev. Joshua Haney, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
