Kathleen Ann Tantalo

Kathleen Ann Tantalo, 80, of Bolivar Drive, Bradford, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Buffalo General Hospital surrounded by her son, Larry, and her daughter, Tracy. She was the last of her immediate family.

Born September 30, 1945, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Norman E. “Red” Runyan and Hazel A (Gardner) Runyan. She graduated from Bradford Area High School, Class of 1963.

On September 30,1989, in Bradford, she married Louis J. Tantalo Sr. who passed away October 28, 2014.

She was previously employed by JC Penny Company, Pennzoil Company and retired from the McKean County Assistance office in 2002 with 30 plus years of service. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees and a member of the St. Bernard Church.

Surviving are two sons, Larry D. (Sandy) Vecellio Jr., of Buford GA and Augie (Marguss) Tantalo of Tempe AZ. one daughter, Tracy E. (Steven) Colosimo of Bradford, three grandsons, Kyle S. Colosimo of Bradford, Nicholas F. Colosimo of Bradford, and Cody (Laurie) Tantalo of Denver CO, three granddaughters, Kristen B. Spires of GA, Briana N. Vecellio of GA and Brooke Jones (Jason) of Bellingham, WA, four great-grandsons, Landon M. Spires of GA, Leighton A. Spires of GA, Lian H. Spires of GA and Cole H. Jones of Bellingham WA, two great-granddaughters, Alaya R. Vecellio of GA and Sylvie J. Jones of Bellingham WA, one daughter-in-law, Debbie Tantalo of Bradford, and several  nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved, furry companion “Louie”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis of 37 years, one brother Norman E. Runyan Jr, one sister Judith A. (Charles) Hultman, one son, Joseph Tantalo and one nephew, Norman E.  “Cub” Runyan, III.

Friends will be invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial later this summer.
