Jan M. Stiles

Janice M. "Jan" Stiles, 64, of Fairview Heights, Bradford, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her residence. 

Born August 2, 1961, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Doris  "Jeannie" (Raught) Tingley. 

Jan was a 1979 graduate of Limestone Union Free School District. 

On November 8, 1980, at the St. Patrick Church in Limestone, she married Douglas Stiles who survives. 

Jan had been employed at Care for Children, as a Preschool Aide for nearly 20 years.

Jan was a member of St. Bernard Church. She loved being with her kids, grandkids, hosting Sunday family dinners and loved doing her crafts.

Surviving in addition to her husband Doug, of 45 years, are two children, Erica (Scott) Taylor, of Bradford, and Randy (Melissa) Stiles, of Bradford,  5 grandchildren, Mackenzie Taylor, Cyrus Stiles, Levi Stiles, Oliver Taylor, Amelia Taylor, three sisters, Christina (Stephen) Rodgers, of Partlow, VA, Tammy (Rich) Grove, of Bradford, Debbie (Donnie) Forester, of Olean, NY, three brothers, Jerome (the late Tammy) Tingley, of Limestone NY, Jeffrey (Cathy) Tingley, of Olean NY, John (Lori) Tingley, of Colonial Heights, VA,  two sisters-in-law, Candy Tingley, of Limestone, and Marcie Tulley of Mt. Jewett, and many nieces and nephews.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Edwardene "Eddie" Schoonover, two brothers, Gregory Tingley, and Kenneth Tully, and one brother-in-law John "Jack" Schoonover.

Jan's family will receive friends on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 10 AM to Noon at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. in Bradford, followed by funeral services at Noon with Fr. John Jacquel, Pastor of the St. Bernard Church officiating.

Not quite sure what to say...I thought you were feeling/doing better...I''m so very sorry about this...Sorry for those left behind but happy for those who were waiting for you...You also left behind many classmates that you spend 13 early years of your life with.
