Colleen Ann Mann

Colleen Ann Mann,  77, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Colleen dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work as a pediatric nurse. Her compassion, kindness, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children and families throughout her career.

Later in life, Colleen also found great enjoyment working as a cashier in the self-checkout area at Strongsville Walmart. She loved interacting with customers and coworkers, helping people through their day, and having the opportunity to stay connected with her community. Her friendly personality and genuine interest in others made the job something she truly enjoyed.

Outside of work, Colleen had a deep love for photography and scrapbooking and took great joy in capturing and preserving her family’s memories. Each year, she lovingly created family calendars filled with photographs and special moments—a tradition that reflected how much she treasured her family and the life they shared together.

Colleen also loved to travel, with Ireland holding a particularly special place in her heart. She enjoyed celebrating her Irish heritage, attending Irish festivals, and embracing the traditions and experiences that connected her to Ireland.

Above everything else, Colleen’s greatest joy and greatest legacy was her family. She was the loving mother of Sean (Geeta), Ryan (Keith), Shane (Brandy), and Shannon (Jen), and the proud grandmother of Amber, Reagan, Jordan, Wyatt, Ethan, Blaise, and Maeve. Time spent with her grandchildren brought her immeasurable happiness, and she treasured every opportunity to celebrate their lives, watch them grow, and make memories together.

Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Mann; her daughter, Meghan; her parents, T. Frederick Murphy and Helen L. (Benning) Murphy Shurilla; and her siblings, Thomas Murphy, Marilyn Volchko, and Maureen Murphy.

Colleen’s family will greet friends from 11 - 12:30 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road. A service honoring her life will begin at the funeral home at 12:30 PM.
