James P. Silvis, 74, of Edgewood Road, Bradford, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at Bradford Manor.

Born March 16, 1952, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Robert P. and Dorothy "Dottie" L. (Case) Silvis. 

He was a 1970 graduate of Bradford High School and later attended Jamestown Community College.

Jim was employed in sales most of his life. 

Jim was an accomplished guitar player and singer. He played in several local bands including Underwood Exchange. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
 
Surviving is one daughter, Jayme L. (Kevin) Litterini of Pittsburgh, two grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Litterini, one sister, Debra Lee (Tony) Tadlock, of Charlotte NC, one brother, Craig (Leslie Genzano) Silvis, of Bradford, and one nephew, Andy Russell, of Charlotte NC.one niece, Amy Zygmond Selinski of Lorton VA, and two nephews, Daniel Monique Silvis of NC.and Andy Russell, of Charlotte NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Peggy Lynn Silvis and one brother, Robert J. Silvis.

At Jim's request, there will not be any public services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
